Walking on a sine wave

This was the first time since my kids started their schooling that I was in town during the End of school year week and had an open calendar ( refer to blog post 1). So as they say when the bar opens once in your life , you…. ( you get the gist).

Long story short, I ended up volunteering for all events for both of them. This added up to 2 end of the year school parties and 2 field days. To top it, these two planned their own end of the year pool party at our home on Friday which was a half day. All the events were a lot of fun and the pool party was a super success. However by the end of it, I was a lump of clay 🤪 and needed a soak in epsum salt bath. What a week it was and the big hug by my little one before bed on Friday made it all so worth it. It’s now been a month into my sabbatical and I am cherishing these days.
