Walking on a sine wave

Today

Rainy days always remind me of Pune and bring back happy memories from my years spent there. The sound of rain, the earthy smells, the chai and the savory snacks are nostalgic of a time when life was simpler and college friends were my family.

Today the weather suddenly turned and the clouds burst open without any warning. Sabbatical me decided to quickly make a cup of chai and heated dhokalas to enjoy in my patio before the rain stopped. Kids came home and saw me sitting in the patio listening to the raindrops falling. As if on cue from “Dil to Pagal hai”, they stepped out in the rain and started singing “tak dhoom Dhoom”. I watched that movie in Pune and the entire experience was the perfect Pune Moment!
